Join us for an enjoyable and enlightening walking tour of Embassy Row as we explore the colorful tapestry of stunning architecture, history, eccentric personalities, unbridled ambition, bitter rivalries, curses, scandals, and even political assassination that make this neighborhood one of the most fascinating in Washington.
Sights we will see from the outside include:
- The embassies of Indonesia, Ireland, Turkey, Greece, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
- The Anderson House/Society of the Cincinnati
- The Cosmos Club/Townsend Mansion
- Alice Roosevelt Longworth Mansion

- The Phillips Collection
This tour lasts approximately 2 hours and involves about a mile-and-a half of walking on sidewalks.
