Visit one of the most unique museums on the National Mall
Join Laurence for a private small group tour of the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden, Washington, DC. The Sculpture Garden includes sculptures by Auguste Rodin, Alberto Giacometti, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Beverly Pepper, Jeff Koons, and Yoko Ono. Our certified tour guide gives a curated two-hour tour to a small group of art enthusiasts whom love sculpture. They discuss how sculpture art has changed through out history by showing traditional sculptures and modern sculpture forms. By creating the context behind the sculpture you will be able to gain appreciation of the growth of this art form. This tour is outdoors so please dress accordingly.
The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden is one of the most unique museums on the National Mall, filled with modern and contemporary art, houses more than 5,000 paintings and 3,000 sculptures. The uniquely recognizable, round building was designed by Gordon Bunshaft as a modern sculpture, and was opened in 1974.
